My dad passed away a few years ago, and one of the things he wanted me to have was a necklace from his high school days. I cherish it dearly and have worn it on special occasions.
This year, my son started playing high school football (just like his grandpa!). I decided to pass the necklace on to him. Seeing him wear it with pride on game days fills me with a sense of joy and connection to my father.
It made me think about the importance of passing on meaningful family heirlooms. What cherished items do you plan to share with your loved ones?
