You’ll Be Taken Care Of – But What Does That Really Mean?

I spoke with a woman earlier this week whose fiancé recently passed away.

While he was sick, she cared for him day in and day out. He would often say, “Don’t worry, you’ll be taken care of.”

Now he’s gone. She’s looked through the estate plans. She’s spoken to his family. And what did she find?

She’s getting $150,000 — but no house.
No car (the one she’s been driving).
No real security.
No clarity. Just… words.

So here’s the question I want you to really sit with: What does “You’ll be taken care of” mean to YOU?

And more importantly — does your partner know? Do you both agree?

Don’t wait until it’s too late. Love should be protected in writing, not just in promises.
