An Invalid Will

Recently, a client brought in a will he believed was valid, but it wasn’t properly executed and didn’t include all the children. When I explained the probate court wouldn’t accept it, he was devastated.

I told him, if you want to disinherit a child, make sure your plan is legally solid. DIY estate planning can lead to costly complications. It’s worth investing in a lawyer to get it right.
